it looks better than Half Life 2 on my computer so that is good enough for me. I just hope they smooth out the framerate to at least 30fps.
I've been trying to figure out for the last couple of weeks how to convert .flv to .wmv. I tried using all of the software in the link and the first 15 seconds are converted, but nothing more. Those 15 seconds are further than I've ever got before though, and I was wondering if anyone knows why it would just stop when everything seemed to be going fine. I've already transcoded a couple of movies so I know my computer can do it. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

I've put some of my converted full length videos in there but they don't always show up. So what I did instead was free up some space on my 20 gig Archos Gmini and streamed them off of that.
you're exactly right. I was thinking about picking up a 40gb drive when it was on sale for $30, sadly I didn't get it in time.
I'm not saying I don't like the PS3, people need to understand this. I'm saying that I'm content with one system right now. If there are enough exclusives that I would enjoy, then down the road I might purchase a PS3. I think it's kind of funny that 3 people disagreed with my last comment.
Do you have a Xbox Live gamertag? I completely know what you are talking about here. A lot of my comments are telling people to chill and that these games are meant to be fun and what-not, but people refuse to listen. It is quite frustrating but I ask that you continue to post what you find.
I'm not agreeing with either of you, but I think when he was saying the "celeron of cells" that he was implying it's a lower end cell, not that it was manufactured by Intel.
Good to see another open minded person. When my friends are at my house, we play my 360. When I go to their house, I play their PS2 and games like DBZ: Budokai. Either way we are having a good, fun time.
I agree with you. People on both sides of this "fight" need to loosen up. Just because you buy one console doesn't make you an employee of the company in danger of losing your job if it doesn't succeed. Neither company is going to drop their console so you don't have to worry about not having new games. Both will have good exclusives, both will play great games, both will play hd movies, and both will provide FUN. They are made for FUN. Have FUN with them. Don't use them as weapons ...
I like your thinking. You realize that both systems have unique features and will offer good games. My gamertag is Death Monk if you ever want to play.
If the price drops down the road and there are enough games that I want which I can't get on the 360, I too would consider getting one.

While I can see your point with Oblivion, at the same time that Oblivion content is a new expansion. It is good that they are putting it in the PS3 version but I see this stuff being added to a GOTY edition on the 360 eventually. This happened with Morrowind on Xbox. GT HD is a remake of a game. It should include all content.
I have a DVD player and CD player, but the DVD player is in a different room (I'm paying rent and am a college student). It's nice to watch DVDs on my 360 in the privacy of my room.
